You recently received multiple letters from Charles Schwab (Schwab) regarding the upcoming transfer of TD Ameritrade (TDA) accounts to Schwab. While the content of the letters might seem redundant, they contain crucial information, including your new account numbers with Schwab. It's not uncommon for financial institutions to send out separate communications for each account, even if the information is largely the same, to ensure that account holders are fully informed and aware of the changes.
These letters contain very important and relevant information including:
- This change of brokerage services from TDA to Schwab has NO impact on our relationship.
- It shows your current TDA account number and the new Schwab account number. (so we suggest you keep these letters until after the transfer).
- Explains (and encourages) you to log in now toSchwabAlliance.comand set up login credentials so you will be able to see your accounts here starting September 5th. (There is a link in TD AdvisorClient you can click on that takes you to Schwab Alliance to establish a new login)

The culmination of a three-year journey initiated by Schwab's acquisition of TDA is about to be completed. During the upcoming Labor Day Weekend, a pivotal step will occur as all TDA accounts transition to Schwab. This process entails electronically moving your assets from your current TDA accounts to newly established accounts at Schwab.
Starting September 5th, your online access to account information will transition as well. The website you previously used, AdvisorClient.com, will no longer provide account access. Instead, you'll manage your accounts and access information through SchwabAlliance.com. We want to assure you that we'll be here to address any questions or concerns you may have before and after the transition.
We understand that changes can sometimes raise queries, and we're committed to providing the support you need. We believe that with a little patience, all of these adjustments will soon become a memory. By the time you receive and review your September month-end statements, we anticipate that these changes will be fully integrated and familiar to you.
